Now – on to the fun bit…
Damage Testing Joke:
A major car manufacturer had a unique device for testing the strength of the windscreens on its cars – a large canon that fired a dead chicken at the windscreen at 30mph. The theory was that if the windscreen didn’t break it would survive a crash in real life.
Another car manufacturer heard of the chicken cannon and decided to use it for its own line of vehicles.
So the other manufacturer made its own chicken canon, loaded it up and fired it at one of its cars. The chicken not only destroyed the windscreen but came right through the rear windscreen too and out on to the road, completely intact. The manufacturer was appalled, and sent one of their team undercover to see what their rival was doing to make their windscreens so tough.
The undercover employee spent a day at the rival manufacturer and wrote up a report with his recommendations. The report consisted of just one recommendation, which read “Don’t use frozen chickens.”
